Evidence-based practice is a cornerstone of my nursing approach, and I intend to apply the same principles to my applications. Through both quantitative and qualitative measurements, we can create, test, and implement technological solutions that demonstrably improve our patients' lives.

The Effects of an AI created Question Prompt List on Preoperative Anxiety and Patient Satisfaction with Physician Informed Consent: A Pilot Study

Early stages

In this study we explore the practicality and usability of an application that utilizes gpt-4o to create Question Prompt Lists from the audio of an informed consent. We will then compare the benefits of this QPL to a more traditional QPL.

A mixed methods study on the use of IBDiary: an application used to track and map the relationship between stress and IBD symptoms

Early stages

Our goal is to have 12-20 people utilize IBDiary throughout a month long period of time and then have a conversation about their stress and IBD symptoms with their Gastroenterologist at the end of the month. A list questions has been given to the Gastroenterologist and the patient's responses have been used for thematic analysis. The application data will be used for quantitative analysis.
